Egeberg to be Named President of Security National Bank South Dakota

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — D. Douglas Rice, Chairman, President and CEO of Security National Corporation, is pleased to announce the following promotion:
Brian Egeberg has been named the next President of Security National Bank of South Dakota. A professional with more than 30 years of financial experience, Egeberg joined the Bank in May 2021 as the Vice President of Commercial Services. He will succeed Gary Dybsetter, upon Dybsetter’s retirement as President on May 6.
“Brian is a proven leader with exceptional financial skills, and we’re excited about the positive impact he has already had on our customers, employees and the community,” Rice said. “Brian’s high-quality service, combined with his established record in lending and commercial partnerships, makes him the perfect candidate to lead our Bank moving forward.”
Egeberg began his banking career on the teller line during his college years, while earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in management from the University of Illinois-Springfield. He was promoted to several different positions, including Credit Analyst, Commercial Lender and eventually Market President at a previous financial institution in Champaign, Ill.
He now resides in Sioux Falls with his wife, Sara, and their two daughters.
