Official Contest Rules
NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT OR BANKING RELATIONSHIP NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE, PAYMENT OR BANKING RELATIONSHIP WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Sponsor
The “Somebody Deserves These Seats” Contest (“Contest”) is sponsored by Security National Bank (“Sponsor” or “SNB”), 601 Pierce St, Sioux City, IA 51101.
The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., the University of Iowa, participating athletic teams or conferences, the venue, or ticket provider unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Eligible entrants may nominate themselves or another individual, including an individual under 18 years of age.
The individual submitting the entry must be at least 18 years old and will be considered the official entrant.
If a nominee is under 18, the nominee's parent or legal guardian must provide any consent or authorization required by Sponsor before the nominee may receive the prize or participate in publicity associated with the Contest. Sponsor may require that a minor nominee attend the game with a parent, legal guardian or other adult authorized by the parent or legal guardian.
Employees, officers and directors of Security National Bank, its affiliates, subsidiaries and promotional agencies, and members of their immediate households, are not eligible to win.
No Security National Bank customer relationship is required.
3. Contest Period
The Contest begins October 2nd, 2026 and ends October 28rd, 2026 (“Contest Period”).
All entries must be received before the Contest Period ends.
4. How to Enter
During the Contest Period, complete the official entry form and submit a video of no more than 120 seconds explaining why the entrant or someone the entrant knows deserves the courtside experience.
There is no fee to enter.
Liking, sharing, commenting, following or tagging Security National Bank or another individual on social media is not required to enter and will not affect judging or increase an entrant's chances of winning.
Limit one (1) entry per person [AND/OR NOMINEE] during the Contest Period.
Automated, duplicate, fraudulent, incomplete, late, corrupted or otherwise noncompliant entries may be disqualified.
5. Submission Requirements
Videos must be the entrant's original work and appropriate for a general audience.
Submissions must not:
Infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights;
Contain copyrighted music or other third-party material the entrant does not have permission to use;
Contain obscene, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, harassing or illegal material;
Promote illegal activity;
Contain unrelated advertising or commercial solicitations; or
Contain sensitive personal or financial information.
Entrants should not include Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, card numbers, passwords, home addresses, medical information or other sensitive personal or financial information.
Sponsor may disqualify submissions that violate these requirements or these Official Rules.
6. Nominating
An entrant may nominate themselves or another individual.
If nominating another person, the entrant represents that the information submitted is truthful to the entrant's knowledge and that the entrant has not knowingly disclosed information the nominee would reasonably expect to remain private.
Entrants should not disclose a nominee's medical information, financial circumstances, account information, home address or other sensitive information without permission.
Before a nominee is confirmed to receive the prize or their name, image, likeness, voice, video or story is publicly used, Sponsor may require appropriate consent and releases from the nominee or, for a minor, the nominee's parent or legal guardian.
7. Judging and Winner Selection
This is a judged contest. The winner will not be selected at random.
Eligible video submissions will be evaluated by a judging panel designated by Security National Bank according to the following criteria:
Compelling nature and impact of the story, Connection to the “Someone Deserves These Seats” theme, Authenticity and originality, Overall presentation.
The eligible submission receiving the highest overall score will be selected as the potential winning submission.
The decisions of the judges and Sponsor regarding eligibility, application of the judging criteria and administration of the Contest are final and binding to the extent permitted by law.
8. Prize
Two (2) separate winning submissions will receive:
Two (2) courtside tickets to Iowa vs Virginia Tech Men's Basketball November 10, 2026 at Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, IA OR Two (2) courtside tickets to Iowa vs Vanderbilt Women's Basketball on November 15, 2026 at Tyson Events Center
Approximate Retail Value Range (“ARV”): $761.90 - $1264.70
Transportation, lodging, parking, meals, beverages, merchandise and other expenses are not included unless expressly stated by Sponsor.
Prize has no cash alternative and may not be sold, assigned, transferred or substituted except at Sponsor's discretion or as permitted under applicable ticket terms.
Tickets are subject to applicable terms, restrictions and policies of the ticket issuer, venue and participating teams.
Sponsor is not responsible for cancellation, postponement, rescheduling or relocation of the game or other circumstances outside Sponsor's reasonable control.
9. Winner Notification
The potential winner will be contacted by October 30th, 2026 using the telephone number and/or email provided with the entry and must respond within 48 hours.
Sponsor may require the potential winner and applicable nominee to verify eligibility and execute an eligibility, liability, publicity, content and/or video release before the prize is awarded.
If a selected entrant or nominee is ineligible, cannot be contacted, does not respond within the required period, refuses required documentation or otherwise violates these Official Rules, Sponsor may select the next eligible winning submission.
10. Submitted Content
Entrants retain ownership of their original submissions.
By entering, entrants grant Security National Bank a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to review, reproduce and display their submission as reasonably necessary to administer and judge the Contest.
Sponsor may obtain additional consent before using an entrant's or nominee's name, image, likeness, voice, video or story for advertising or promotional purposes beyond administration of the Contest.
Where permitted by law, the verified winner may be asked to authorize Security National Bank to use the winner's name, image, likeness, voice, submitted story, video and prize-related photographs or recordings for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
11. Privacy
Information collected through the Contest will be used to administer the Contest, communicate with entrants, verify eligibility, award the prize and comply with applicable law.
Submitting an entry does enroll the entrant in Security National Bank marketing communications.
Any optional marketing consent will be presented separately and will not affect eligibility or judging.
12. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to disqualify an entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits false information, attempts to manipulate judging, violates these Official Rules or interferes with fair administration of the Contest.
Sponsor will not arbitrarily reject otherwise eligible entries.
Sponsor may cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the Contest if fraud, technical failure, unauthorized intervention, force majeure or circumstances outside Sponsor's reasonable control materially affect its integrity or administration, subject to applicable law.
13. Release and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents and promotional partners from claims arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize, except where prohibited or limited by law.
Nothing in these Official Rules waives rights that cannot legally be waived.
14. Facebook and Instagram
This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
By participating, entrants release Facebook and Instagram from claims arising from or related to the Contest to the extent permitted by law.
Entrants are providing their information to Security National Bank, not Facebook or Instagram.
Social-media likes, shares, comments, follows and tags are not required to enter and do not affect judging.
15. Taxes
Federal, state and local taxes, if any, resulting from acceptance of the prize are the responsibility of the winner. Sponsor will provide tax documentation when required by applicable law.
16. Applicable Law
The Contest is subject to applicable federal, state and local laws and is void where prohibited.
17. Winner
Information
Following verification, Sponsor may announce the winner's name and state of residence subject to applicable law and appropriate permissions.
